Cameroon Institute of Biblical Studies update

Beloved in Christ and friends,
We are trusting that the good Lord is blessing you spiritually and physically to accomplish His will on earth as we strive as one man in reaching the lost souls with the saving message of Christ and His kingdom . Our daily focus is on pleasing Him, preach His crucifixion and the power of His resurrection and fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death.

We are in the thirteen weeks of the first semester and all the activities of the Cameroon Institute of Biblical Studies,Batibo [CIBS]; are going smoothly by the special grace of God. Student’s examination will be starting after two weeks from now and on the seventeen week members of staff and all the students will be out for a one week campaign for Christ were we hope to carry out an extensive evangelistic activities namely; door to door preaching in the morning till evening and public preaching daily for one full week at a village called Ashong, about 40kms from the school. We are aiming at restoring a fallen congregation of the Lord’s church in that village which was planted some years back but due to lack of capable leadership, these immature Christians are no longer worshiping for several months now. Pray for us and this mission Please.

Immediately after this mission week, we will be closing in the eighteen week precisely on the 30th of June 2011 for the first semester.

Affiliation process. We are glad to inform you that the dean of ministry Training Central Africa from the Sunset International Bible Institute Texas, USA; visited the CIBS at Batibo Cameroon alongside with three other Nigerians  to discuss the possibility of CIBS affiliating with them for the award of first degree in ministry. By this, we can assure you that the school is in progress.

We are still receiving request from congregations of the Lord’s church asking our students to come and help them for weekend evangelism and our responsibilities are increasing.

We beg you for your regular prayers and concern for the smooth running of this Institution. Through the generosity of some friends and brethren, we were able to settle most of our students and staff allowances, rent, electricity and water bills of last month.

We are still begging with confident for any assistance to push this good work ahead. We are yet to secure books for the school library, computers for student’s practical studies and regular monthly allowances for students/ staff.

Keep CIBS and my family in your prayers, as we keep praying for you.

Share our information with others who may have interest in training faithful men for services in God’s kingdom on earth.

We pray God to bless all your efforts and your partnership with us in His business on earth.

Grace and Peace,
