THERE IS AN OPEN DOOR IN CAMEROON.

Beloved in Christ and friends,

APPEAL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT.

 We bring you all greetings from Batibo, North West Region, Cameroon. The Cameroon Institute of Biblical Studies was established with the aim of multiplying able spokesmen of the gospel within Cameroon and beyond. Our efforts in evangelism is yielding fruitful results to the praise of God who bids us come to Him for strength even as Christ promised to be with us  always to the end of the world (Matt. 28:20).

 Presently, the Sunset International Bible Institute, Lubbock, Texas, USA having watch keenly our progressive nature is willing to fully grant us the status of a branch school of hers,  to enable us run their following Sound Biblical programs;

           Bachelor of Arts -Biblical Studies,
Bachelor of Ministry,
Diploma in Biblical Studies and Ministry.

We wish to encourage your involvement and partnership as a lover of church growth and expansion.

CIBS OVERSIGHT

The Cameroon Institute of Biblical Studies as at now is not having any congregational oversight but we are praying for that to happen through you. But permit me to acknowledge and appreciate the effort of the Salbury Church of Christ, USA.  This congregation is sending to us a monthly support of $200 for the upkeep of the school. The Southside Church of Christ, Richmond California, USA; have stood by my side since the year 2003 till date in supporting my family welfare with a regularly monthly support. We owe these brethren and few individual Christians who have considered our mission efforts worthy of their assistance from time to time much appreciation. Though, on several occasions we have been faced with insufficient funds to carter for our numerous needs which are cogent.

                                                                  CHALLENGES:

Please kindly bear with us as we share with you our challenges with hope that you shall help appeal to beloved brothers and sisters in your respective congregations to come to our aid as our school is promising in all ramifications.

The following stand bold as challenges facing us;

a.    Inadequate funding to carter for students welfare.

b.    The Director and other 6 teachers are doing a voluntary sacrifice without a regular pay to see that this work continue to grow even now that we are about to kick start the degree program alongside the diploma. It is our prayer that you could assist in talking to brethren who could to help provide salary or allowances for the faculty.

c.    We do not have funds to engage our students in weekend evangelism outreach to enable them acquire the practical skills of preaching while undergoing training here. It would be our pleasure that funds be sought to take care of this aspect as well.

d.    We are in dire need of an evangelism mini bus vehicle which shall help greatly in our outreach extension programs in and outside our locality.

e.     The faculty would need to visit our students during their one month field work exercise in their locality to encourage them. Funds for such trips are needed along with administrative cost.

f. We equally need relevant text books / Bible commentaries to equip out library and computers for students practical. It is our prayers that you would do your best to encourage this work and ministry to grow beyond our present status in the near future. Thanks to you.
