A FEAT ACCOMPLISHED / 2012 MISSION NEEDS

Brother Prince Otobong Ituen and Nankeng Adolphus proclaiming the gospel through a local Radio station in the North West Region of Cameroon.

A cross section of Christians gathered at Bamenda, North West Region, Cameroon during a provincial lectureship.
The Cameroon Institute of Biblical Studies preparing themselves for God’s service in Cameroon.
The CIBS staff and students posing with the board of trustee president, during their recent visit to Widikum on out reach mission.
A cross section of Christian’s youth during the 2011 forum in the South West Region, Cameroon.

Needy home visit  is a part of our mission. We  recently visited a orphanage home in Bamemda, Cameroon. “Religion that God our father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world” James 1: 27.

The preaching of the old rugged cross and bringing the lost to Christ is our mission priority. He said to them, “Go into the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned” Mark 16:15-16.

Since I took up the challenge to go to Cameroon as a Missionary in 2003, I have been trying to maintain this medium of communication to help make known the progress and problems of the work and to attract wider Christian concern and participation in enhancing the work. The missionary journey to Cameroon is a response to the great commission of our Lord. It has been a rewarding venture as the gospel has been spread, churches strengthened and men trained to serve in His vineyard. Many souls have been baptized and edified. Many needy persons have been shown benevolence, and the disabled has been comforted.
A virgin area that calls for more Christian work has been identified and the challenge is here brought to you to rise up and let us work together to do the Lord’s work. Your sacrificial effort in the face of global economic recession is a testament of your commitment to God and His services.
This missionary effort in Cameroon is a task that must be done and my family and I are willing to serve in this field as long as it pleases the good Lord. We are progressing, though our needs are increasing day by day. We will be able to do more if you would consider this mission worthy to constitute a part of your budget in 2012. We will eternally remain thankful for your benevolence. In fact, the CIBS family in particular derive great joy in knowing that many folks far away are striving daily to assist them accomplish their dreams in serving God even in a bad period as this .
